5 cross-category collections for private label, gifting and retail

October 30, 2026

Cross-category collections now define the creative brief: beauty, wellness and lifestyle designed and packaged as a single coordinated project and launched as one. If the collection is now the product, what does that brief look like when it is built?

5 cross-category collections for private label, gifting and retail

It is one idea carried across every category Concept4 already develops: colour cosmetics and body care, tools, pouches, textiles, hair and fashion accessories, home fragrance and décor, and primary and secondary packaging. All of it designed, sourced and packed as a single project.

Each of the following collections is a directional concept for private label, gifting, merch or a complete retail collection; proof that beauty, wellness and lifestyle do not have to arrive from separate worlds.

Un Air de Paris: beauty, home and ritual in one palette

Un Air de Paris treats everyday objects as part of the same art de vivre: pouches and broderie-anglaise sleep masks, room spray, marble soap, a pre-scented hanging plaster, scrunchies, a paisley scarf, a ceramic mug, a soap dish, a bottle charm and a mini brush.

Print, lace and a dusty rose-to-cream palette carry from textile to homeware, so a pouch and a hanging plaster still belong to one collection. For a brand or retailer, that is a gifting, amenity or press story that can live on a vanity or in a hotel kit and still present as one collection.

Tropicalia: colour cosmetics, tools & fashion under one print story

Tropicalia is the more vivid expression of the same approach. Hair texturising spray is paired with a resin comb and flower claw; nail and lip colour follow the fruit-and-floral palette; pouches, totes, sleep masks, keychains, earrings and bikini charms carry the same motifs.

Print, fruit icons and a coral-to-leaf palette connect cosmetics, tools, bags and fashion, so a gloss and a beaded palm still belong to one collection. That is a seasonal set or floor story that can be packed together and still work as one.

Coastal Boho: bags, hair and home with a shared material language

Coastal Boho is developed for beach-to-room gifting: a bronze wet pouch, printed organisers, a jewellery case and roll, sarong scarves, face towels, an eye mask, a raffia tote, a bowed pillowcase, and gold shell hair jewellery.

Here the cross-category work is tactile. Print, raffia, satin and polished metal are held in one coastal mood, so the wet pouch and the shell clip feel like parts of the same set. Together they merchandise as a spa, travel or department-store story; hair, packing and home in one look.

Revival Core: makeup, body and lifestyle in one collection

Revival Core is the closest to a full beauty-plus-lifestyle drop. Highlighting body oil, solid balm, loofah soap and a hair-and-body mist with jelly blush, setting spray, gloss and a warm nude palette. Around them: striped and straw pouches, chevron face pads, a headband, sunglasses, claw clips, a wine glass, glass straws.

This is what “one project, one look” is for. Warm coral, stripe and sun-washed acetate repeat from the oil bottle to the clutch, so a makeup story and a poolside accessory story do not split on shelf. For a retailer, that is a holiday or summer gifting table that can be built from one partner instead of a beauty vendor and a separate lifestyle vendor.

Core: bags, clips and carry for every day

Core is the everyday version of the same idea: mesh totes and makeup pouches, a bamboo fan, phone strap, lip-kit and gloss holders, claw clips, satin scrunchies, nylon caps, a steel cup.

These are the pieces that fill GRWM kits, subscription boxes and counter displays. Hardware, mesh and colour are stronger when they are designed as one set. Core is how a brief looks when the collection is meant to work every day.

One project, from development to packing

The five collections above are complete, ready-to-develop directions. Each collection unites several categories under one idea; a ritual, a coastal suitcase, a summer beauty table, an everyday kit. The next step is not to source tools, bags and home separately. It is to choose the collection and develop it under a single name.

This is the approach Concept 4 has applied to advent calendars, gift sets, merch and amenity kits: one project from development through packing. The result is a single timeline, fewer handovers, and a finished set that stays true to the approved idea. The SS27 concepts extend the same model. They can be adapted as private label, gifting, merch or a complete retail collection.

For teams responsible for developing collections, the advantage is: one brief, one supplier relationship, one finish language, and one delivery date. The collection arrives as it was designed; coherent, complete, and ready.
